Carol Chan is the Founder and Director of Comms8. Originally from Hong Kong, Carol is a creative and analytically minded communications strategist with a passion for formulating effective creative ideas from inspirations around the world.
Prior to her role at Comms8, Carol led the International and Asia-Pacific offices at top media agencies in both London and Hong Kong, where she helped clients like Coca-Cola, Ralph Lauren, Puma and Emirates, to successfully build and implement their communications strategy at local, regional and global levels.
Native Londoner Ursalaan is a communications specialist with experience in working across Asia, and in particular, Thailand and China. Working in both Ningbo and Zhuhai, China, Ursalaan worked primarily in e-Commerce and sourcing and logistics on the ground in China for 18 months. He is experienced working with both local SMEs in China as well as established multinationals. Ursalaan also worked in leading global market research firms in Thailand- working with clients such as Diageo and Nike on customer insight research.
For the past four years, Ursalaan has studied and researched many aspects of China ranging from language, to culture, to economics, in order to strengthen his knowledge of Chinese markets. Now, he successfully applies this extensive knowledge of the Chinese consumership and commerce to creative, yet analytical communications and media strategies at Comms8.
Jenny is Hong Kong native and a trilingual communications expert that has over 15 years experience in a variety of sectors. She’s had extensive experience in managing accounts that span across multiple cultures and locations ranging from the Asia Pacific, Europe, USA, Middle East and Africa.
In 2014, Jenny moved to Malawi, Africa. Utilising this knowledge, she carried out vital work for a local NGO, managing the marketing and PR for the organisations’ fundraising activities
Prior to working at Comms8, Jenny worked at a leading global tech solutions giant, focusing on the retail and e-commerce sectors, helping clients to deliver highly effective and results-driven campaigns.

In addition, Winnie has previously worked as a social media and marketing executive in an international educational company, managing various social media accounts with over 100 thousand followers.
When pursuing her masters degree in Public Relations , Winnie found her passion in brand and marketing communications. With her unique insights into the Chinese market, she is eager to help brands to raise their awareness through effective campaigns.
