Senior Account Executive

About the Role

As a Senior Account Executive, you will play a critical role in driving client success across campaigns, growing accounts, and shaping regional initiatives. You will report directly to the Managing Director and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams — from strategy and content to influencer and production leads.

This role calls for someone who combines strong operational execution with strategic thinking and a client-first mindset.

You will lead end-to-end campaign delivery, contribute to new business growth, and help optimise content production workflows — all while ensuring client expectations are exceeded and aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities

1. Campaign Leadership & Client Management

  • Take ownership of integrated influencer marketing, digital advertising, and media campaigns from briefing through execution and reporting.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the day-to-day point of contact and trusted advisor.

  • Translate client objectives into actionable campaign strategies, media plans, and KPI frameworks.

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams (influencers, creators, designers, media partners, and platform representatives) to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

  • Monitor campaign performance, analyse results, and provide recommendations for optimisation and future growth.

  • Ensure campaign deliverables are executed efficiently and meet both client expectations and business objectives.

2. Business Development Support

  • Support senior leadership and account teams in identifying growth opportunities within existing client accounts.

  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, case studies, and pitch materials for prospective and existing clients.

  • Contribute to cross-sell and upsell opportunities through strong client servicing and identification of client needs.

  • Maintain awareness of industry trends, platform developments, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within influencer marketing and digital media.

  • Support the agency's participation in industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities where applicable.

3. Influencer & Partner Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with influencers, creators, MCN partners, media owners, platform representatives, and channel partners across key markets.

  • Expand and strengthen InfluenConnect's network of influencers and strategic partners to support campaign delivery and business growth.

  • Collaborate with influencer and partnership teams to identify suitable talent and partners for client campaigns.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of influencer trends, creator performance, and platform developments across the region.

4. Content & Campaign Production Management

  • Collaborate with design, video, content, and performance marketing teams to develop campaign assets and client deliverables.

  • Ensure localised content and campaign materials align with brand guidelines, audience preferences, and market relevance.

  • Coordinate production timelines, approvals, and quality assurance across all campaign assets.

  • Support the execution of influencer marketing campaigns, paid media initiatives, and digital advertising activities across relevant platforms.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years experience in account management, influencer marketing, digital marketing, media planning/buying, or advertising agency environments.

  • Proven experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns, preferably across APAC or international markets.

  • Strong understanding of influencer marketing, creator ecosystems, social media platforms, and digital advertising.

  • Experience in media planning, media buying, campaign optimisation, and performance reporting would be advantageous.

  • Excellent client servicing and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong project management skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong understanding of Chinese and Asian consumer, cultural, and media landscapes.

  • Fluent English and proficiency in Simplified Chinese (written and spoken) is a must.

  • Strong copywriting and content development skills for marketing communications and social media content.

  • Commercially aware, proactive, and solutions-oriented.

  • Passionate about influencer marketing, digital media, and brand building.

  • Eager to learn and demonstrate a high level of curiosity in emerging marketing technologies and industry trends.
