Schneider Electric, one of the world’s leading stakeholders in power and energy efficiency management, automation and digital solutions. With the hosting of the Innovation Summit, SE’s annual flagship event sharing global’s thought-leadership on technology & sustainability development, Comms8 was enlisted to drive brand awareness and event registration amongst stakeholders of the technology industry in Hong Kong and Macau.


STRATEGY

Extensive programmatic audience targeting: With a defined target audience group and their intent-focus, we leveraged the large-scale programmatic ad network for an extensive reach to generate brand awareness and get lead, including engagement from new customers and existing users to register for the summit.

Niche industry audience outreach: Aimed at reaching the region’s leading decision-makers and management team, we set up an audience-focus InMail and ad campaign on Linkedin by defining the campaign’s goal, geo-focus and industry targets. We also shared the message with an A/B testing approach to maximising the campaign’s deliverables.

Lively video ads for the industry-focused audience: Working closely with clients, we created various ad versions specifically targeting different industries and audience groups, to engage them with respective industry-related messages to maximise the brand’s exposure and positing across different disciplines.

RESULT

Overall, the campaign of Innovation Summit was a success with a high click-through rate (CTR) of over 50%. The deliverables of the campaign outperformed the industry benchmark by 25%.

We also delivered 40% more impressions than planned, lifted the brand’s image and awareness.
